I have decided to use this blog as a platform to show the people of South Africa what the Middle East is like and to show the Middle East what South Africa is all about. I find that the two regions know very little about each other. People from Kuwait ask me “is it safe in SA” and people from SA ask me “is it safe in Kuwait” People are far too narrow-minded and trapped in their little boxes of life and I’d like to use this as a space to open minds. And to share a little of the interesting things I find along the way.
